Many planning projects give rise to the need for financial contributions to be made by way of Sections 106 agreements.  These contributions may be sought for a variety of purposes such as open space, highway infrastructure, educational needs.  The Consultancy checks that these financial contributions meet with the provisions of Circular 5/ 06.  Recently the practice has been successful in challenging highway infrastructure payments on residential developments progressing to appeal.  The Local Planning Authority withdrew the reason for refusal relating to the contribution on both schemes.
