On 18th November 2010, Fareham Borough Council approved the Fareham Core Strategy Pre-Submission Draft for publication. The document will be submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination during summer 2011.
The Core Strategy sets out the vision, objectives and strategy for the spatial development of the area. It will provide the framework for development management within the Borough.
The representation period commenced on Monday 13th December 2010 and will end on Monday 31st January 2011 at 5pm. Should you wish for us to submit representations on the Core Strategy on your behalf, please contact us so that we may discuss your requirements.
The Council is also reviewing and updating the Borough’s Corporate Vision and Objectives and would like to hear the views of local residents. The last such review was in 2006. The consultation period on this document closes on 15th February 2011
