A Certificate of Lawfulness has been issued for the continued use of a building as a separate dwelling in East Hampshire.  The existing modest dwelling has been in use for 4.5 years and therefore satisfied the “four year rule” that requires a property to be continuously occupied as a dwelling for a period of not less than 4 years.  The application was well supported with evidence in the form of statutory declarations, documentary proof and third party letters.
